this was the 2nd song of 3 that Kenneth sent to me whilst i was in Kos. prior to getting the songs from Kenneth i had a bit of writer's block, so thanks Kenneth for clearing the block with your inspirational music.

Lay down,
I just wanna
lay down
i'm so tired,
I just can't keep going
lay down
like a puppet on a string (I can't fall down)
like a puppy on a chain   (I can't run away)
lay down

lay down
i'm so tired,
I just can't keep going
lay down
like a puppet on a string (I can't fall down)
like a puppy on a chain   (I can't run away)
like a monkey on your shoulder  (i'm always there)
like a man on the run (I can't lay down)
lay down.................

Hey Ken,

I enjoyed that, that has a good vibe to it and a nice mellow feel. A wee bit trippy, which is always cool for me.

I hear where you are coming from regarding the standard of musicians here and I too do feel a wee bit undeserving occupying the same space as some of these talented people sometimes. Having said that - this is a community - and it is not a place for judgement on skills or ability (am i right??). I think as long as there is music running through your veins and you love making tracks you will be welcome here.

I think the guys are from loads of different backgrounds, I always thought it would be good if there was a profile page for each member with a place where you could type in a bio about yourself. I think it would an amazing variety of backgrounds and aspirations. I for what it is worth am just a hobbiyst on here. In fact i have never played guitar live for an audience and i think i would freeze if i had to, i think you need your first taste of that kind of thing when u are young.

Anyway, that is a great song Ken / Jim!!

I almost missed this...

Another winner!! Just genius songwriting here, again! You can write and perform really fine soundscapes - this is so well produced, too! Which gear are you using nowadays? I remember that long time ago you recorded on BR-1200(?).

James lyric and vocal melodies puts each song to another level (I know that by personal experience ;D - nice job here, too!

Well done Honker!
