bodie is looking at doing a remix with live drums a piano intro and some organ by a friend, i'm looking to add some backing vox at the beneath the sun parts, so in bodie's eyes it's still a sketch. he is very like you Andy spends a lot of time planning etc, whilst with my punk ethic i just dive in headfirst.

That sounds like a good combination to me...

What's actually happening back at my place nowadays is that I do the "dive in headfirst" (and often that's the take(s) you lot end up with) but I do about 40 different variations on it... different instruments, harmonies, rhythms... everyone of them "dive in headfirst"... and then I'm faced with "sheesh... I know what it was meant to sound like... how the f*** do I make these tracks sound like that?"
