'thanks again for all the great words guys .i really had a great time putting this tune together a few years back in a great sounding  bedroom studio . I would say i know two thirds of the Gordon Lightfoot catalog and this tune is def in in the top 5 for me ...i really tried hard to capture that "Lightfoot " sound (i'm sure there are some Gord fans who know what that means) i used a Guild F-40 jumbo Acoustic for the rhythm and added some very subtle bass and for the Terry Clements lead (R.I.P. Terry) i used an Epi Les to sorta get a similar tone as Terry's ES 335  thru a Pod XT  dialed in for roland jc120 so i sang and played guitar then added 2nd guitar then bass and then added the harmony vocals and that's it ...i had a blast recording it and mixing it and i'm real glad people like it ....this place is a goldmine of musicians from all over the world turning out pro quality recordings and musicial content that rivals the professional musicians . it never fails to amaze me when i check in to hear new songs ...love it!
