This is some kind of sonic chaos/beauty song. Hard to explain, i just want to try something new out from my comfort zone. Less control and thinking, more chaos and random notes. I want to make rough and messy sound that still has something beautiful.

Your know Gary, you are a talented musician/player/producer and this is a very good track but this is your 45th post that solely is to promote yourself. Not one post on any other members tunes (maybe one Dr.C song, I know you guys joined about the same time and have a relationship). It seems pretty clear to me that what you need is a website and that is not what songcrafters is supposed to be. We are a supportive community that shares songs, knowledge, recording techniques and most of all (in my opinion) is encouragement.
I'm not trying to offend & I know you have a relationship with Farrell, who has always been an active, involved member of our little corner of the web here. I guess I'm hoping to encourage you (and a few other recent new members, your not alone) to join the community, you will get much more out of your time here. When I see members only posting their own stuff and not listening/commenting on others ( not just my stuff, I know I'm not every ones cup of tea) I tend to start ignoring their posts (and I like to comment on almost everything!), I know other long standing members do also. If your only hear for us to stroke your ego & become your FAN...again make a website and keep it there. I hope you'll start to participate because you clearly are talented,
good luck.

hi Gary I have to agree with Hook . I myself in the begging learned the hard way here. that unless you comment on other s music . u will not get much response . not trying to b critical . but this is a great interactive
site . and one can learn a lot from feedback and all . so please spend some time giving feed back . even if it s a few songs a day . at least it will b e appreciated. GOD BLESS and GL NEIL !

Gary, I think I speak for many when I say we would rather you hang around and try to balance commentary on the work of others with your own posts. It is obvious you are a hugely talented chap, and I'm sure your (greater) input would be well-received.

The flip side to this is-at least speaking for myself-the commenting over the long term exposes me to entire new realms of music I've never considered before. A good example is "Is This All That We Got?" by Chunk and oldrottenhead. The narrow-minded former me would dismiss it due to its focus on keyboards and the break beat that's percolating underneath. Having said that, I have downloaded it, have it on loop as I type, and love it to death.

Peace.

Sadly Gary, I think you missed my point.
However...

You do indeed blooby, sometimes it takes a while to actually see what way this site operates,I made the same mistake when I 1st joined and posted too many songs, like a music download machine lol.
Mr 64 clipped my wings by email lol and after explaining the do,s and don't,s I became part of the great site that I songcrafters and have enjoyed many collabs and many musical experiences have crossed my ears.
It's a goodsite and we need more people to join in the fun.
Keep your songs here and yourself.

I read posting habits versus reviewing thread and it gives me more perspective how things work here, and what people think about it.
I was very tired(after my band gig, i sleep just few hours)when i read Hook's post, so my reaction for his comment was a bit unbalanced. Anyway, after this, i don't send songs without doing couple of reviews first.

Best regards
Kari

Glad to hear that as well.

As to this post, I love it. Really digging the looseness. Sounds like a jam where nobody is rushing. My only niggle is that it was too short!
