Hi All-

I've learned a lot about my shiny little box on this site. I mostly use my BR for learning tunes and jamming with backing tracks. But the Blues Fest thing inspired me to finally master a tune that I recorded a while ago with my Danelectro DC59 and Fender P-bass. It's based on a Freddie King thing called "The Stumble" which ZZ Top borrowed and recorded as "Apologies To Pearly".

I'm also uploading a backer without the slide lead for anyone who wants to work their magic!

Thanks for this great site!

Nice Slide guitar playing.  That is one area I haven't gone into yet but I sure love the sound.  You are a really good slide player, real good control over your notes. Nice one for the T-ABF

Alternate Tunings: CAUTION: your fingers have to be in different places

Y'all are too kind. Thanks!  You people have really made a great community here--lots of good, postive creative energy. Your generous comments and all of the great playing I'm hearing from your tunes inspire me to play more.

For those who mentioned wanting to get into slide, I highly recommend getting a cheapo guitar like my Danelectro ($249 new!) and a corocidin bottle, tuning up to open-E and listening to lots of Elmo James and Duane Allman, then trying to channel their spirits.

To paraphrase an old lyric: There's magic in the music and the music's in you!

Peace
