You have a great vocal sound, you got a lovely tone for the guitar here too, a lovely straty tone (hope i am not wrong and its a gibson haha).

Yes indeed, sometimes the things in the news make us squirm inside - some things almost impossible to talk about to friends, but through song we can share our thought with real power and energy.
