i recorded this live in the living room, using my br800 and plugging my electro acoustic in and recording via the guitar inputs and mic inputs simultaneously. first attempt using this method,  so i see a learning curve ahead. not had a lot of time for music lately, but wanted to record this before i forgot it. i plan to come back to it and do a full production.

And after everything is said and done
and after everything has fallen down
and after everyone has left the scene
can you remember
any of your dreams
and after everybody's had their say
and come to realise it's far too late
there's nothing anyone can do
do you remember
any of your dreams
how we where gonna make a better world
a place where everyone could get along
have you forgotten
do you remember
do you remember
any of your dreams
any of your dreams

This has that same off-kilter vibe I loved so much about "I Just Don't Know" of yours. Great late night listening I'd wager.

Great singing as always (bugger).

Is the acoustic straight in, or did you assign a preset to the track?

the acoustic was plugged in but also being picked up by the built in stereo mics. is similar to the set up for mic guitar  on the micro br. tho on the br800 has more scope as to how you record with presets eq etc. like i said earlier a learning curve ahead. the guitar line in is recorded to one track and the voice and acoustic recorded through the mics are sent to another track. so limited amount of mixing available.

Great song! I first thought I would prefer the other version more, but I like them both. This one has a directness that is great. I would have recorded you with just one good microphone and to get the guitar warmer and have it all blended from start.

Hook

tough call, i dig both versions brother. Just a good song.
