Sounds kinda live i know,,,just used a different mix type [Flat]  Every other mix type too busy/noisy..
I do know the things i'm not terribly good at,,one being,making a perfect clear mix--
I hear recordings from many here that are nearly flawless----i'm working with the most fundamental equimpment--Spartan recordings !,,no mikes,,no mixing board,no EQ,,,Just acoustic through condenser mike 1-3 tracks,
Drums [2 tracks] done dry...vocal delay 1-2,,,
I guess i function best from my root,without much effort /thought put into equipment-a failing,i must admit...
Being poor does not help as well!!! 

Otherwise,,,truly astounded on quality of recordings i hear here sometimes,,so,i give the best i what i can give -focus to the song---Hopefully,i'll mature a bit more,find the patience,and get it done right--
This comes from working in big studios in the past with hands on engineers,so i could concentrate solely on the song craft..  Forgive me if it's sub standard audio quality,,,,i'll get myself the learn better methods----

Based on your description, I am astounded as to how great your recording came out. I find the mix pretty infectious. And that acoustic had an old Gibson quality to it. They always rocked a bit more.

Had this tune in a box since 1981 ? !  Yep,,but the tune never got old to me,,so i figured,,put 'er out there...:]
