Got my hands on this last week -in a deal
Squier lefty Classic Vibe 50s strat.
It's got Seymour Duncan SSl-3 PUPs in the neck and Middle positions
it's got a Pearly Gates humbucker in the bridge position.
I really dont know what to make of it -I will have to give it a little time-
(cos to me a strat is 3 single coils)
well made -lovely maple neck -frets are good -body is kinda heavy-supposed to be alder.
the push pull tho' is on the vol control and gets in the way of the trem arm.

a couple of photos

Here's a demo of the Pearly Gates (a bit too hot for me -I think)

Jeez, man.  I don't need GAS right now...

I've always a bit of a nay-sayer when it comes to the Strat, always thought them a bit soulless (whisper it).  Lately though I've been yearning a bit after one, and those pics aren't helping.  Can I be rude and ask how much?

I moved to single coils because I felt that way about humbuckers for a long time. There's not a lot of hiding with single coils.
