This is from Joe Jackson's Body and Soul album which he plays on piano. I've arranged it for guitar. It was played  on my cheap Lag T66 ce acoustic apart from the end melody which was played on a PRS se eg.

What a lovely tone you pulled out of that acoustic. Great tones and a really nice tune. The melody is catchy as hell, and the bridge is hooky as well.

Great post!

That's some very fine playing and singing, chunk. I'm not familiar with the original song, but your version of it sounded quite terrific.

Hi Chunk,

Another great performance.  This is perfect for your voice.  You captured it really well. A complete package.

I just listened again and was impressed even more.  The production/recording is superb. You have used effects very tastefully and you have balanced and panned all the tracks really well. My first listen was via studio monitors and the second via the speakers on my pc monitor in another room. Both times sounded great, so well done for mixing for different situations.  There is also lots of emotion in your performance and I think Joe J would be pleased with how you handled it.

I'll be throwing this on my mp3 player for sure.

congratulations,

Ian

Oh yes, lovely. You record the guitar so well and what a great title for a song. I love the way you picked out the harmonies on the guitar.

So good to hear you singing again.

Quality!

One of my favourite songs of all time. I love the way you've interpreted the song. It suits your voice so very well. The playing is spot on, the lovely chiming solo at the end is delightful.

Congratulations. This is fabulous stuff.
