I've been uploading softer and mellower compositions so far. Well, this one is to remind myself that I was and still remain a rocker  ;D

This number is from the "Second Course" album of our internet band Rayon Vert. The music is composed by Gary Carciello and me, however, the middle part quotes the theme from the Violin Concerto by Mendelssohn.

Gary Carciello - guitars
Rob Grant - bass
Doctor C - keyboards, production

Cheers and enjoy!

That's brilliant.  Neo-classical pomp rock.   Exactly what I like - and so well performed.  I had listened to some of the Rayon Vert stuff before although I can't recall exactly where - soundclick I'm guessing.  I loved it then and I love it now.

Big kudos.

Firedance is a very appropriate name for this song because it's on FIRE and burning down the house! I've always like this one DrC! The RV boys are rockin' it big time here. The combination of classical and rock works wonderfully. I really like Rob's bass playing in this...well I like all the performances here. Without a doubt DrC, you are very much a rocker and this song rocks with the finest!
