"Jinxtaposition" a Hook original for AtmosPhest

[Hook]

Another late night, app exploration on the couch. I downloaded Dot Melody ($2) and made the basic track which in itself is 3 tracks, lead, bass & drum machine. Then I added 1 track of Geo Synth, 1 track of drums from Garageband & a track of Special effectish sound clips from an app called Synthesizer Soundboard (free, kinda stupid). All stereo tracks, recorded, mixed & mastered on the Iphone & the 008.

I like the way that this starts -almost tentatively - like machines taking slightly unsure steps into performance, tightening up and gelling into a cool beat and motion synth vibe.

Really very nice. You should check out the Café Del Mar stuff if you haven't already.

I keep hearing steel drums? - they must be calling out to me. This track brings to mind sitting on a beach for days in the Caribbean with a never-ending supply of drinks brought by a waitress - in the future!

Loved all the bits and bobs in this. Definitely soundtrack material.

Ah, this is Sea World music - dreamy and gentile music for the fish swimming gracefully. Definitely Florida holiday music :-)
