What's stolen is the melody played on the oboe and the clarinet.  It is stolen from the Russian composer Alexander Borodin and his work "In the Steppes of Central Asia".

Yea I hear a little Star Trek in there, I just finished DS9 on Netflix and watching Enterprise now. Good show, bad theme song! Geir this is really cool, peacefully serene & spooky all at the same time.
