Hey everyone... Yeah I know... It's bee a long time. I got a message from Andy C a while back and decided to give it a go. Anyhow I brushed off a track that was drums (garage band) and bass (Gibson) which I recorded on my DP024 a while ago. I have had a serious case of writers block for some time and haven't been able to create any lyrics... So I sat down last night and they just came to me out of no where. Imagine that... Anyhow I'm still learning the DP024 so this is a pretty bad mix (Some freq's got squashed in mastering)... I think it was compression.... I hope you all are doing good. Life on the ranch is good for me.

Close Your Eyes (And count to 10)

Close your eyes and count to ten

You here them calling to you
But you don't know where they are
Distant in the shadows
And you cant see who they are

The voices in your head
Telling you this is all a dream
Casting off the cradle
This is more than it seems

Oh baby

Close your eyes and count to ten

Confusion is the solution
In a twisted game of deceit
Running by  the order
Of the imaginary queen

Close your eyes and count to ten

You see it coming for you
Like a fire in the night
Smoke and lies and hollow noises
Make the wrong things seem alright

Close your eyes and count to ten

You keep the truth inside you
To extingquish all the lies
Running toward the battle
And hearing all their cries

As darkness falls upon you
and the curtain starts to fall
the rage on many faces
are the answer to your call

Nicely done Todd.
Cool beats and funky riffs on the Gibson and the bass.

Ranch life is good... well that's good to hear.
