Greatings!
It's been a long time but here I got something new. I have few songs that I try to get out of me and here is the one that got ready first. The reason I finish it today is that I have a bet with my son (sq51) that we will show something new the first of every month from now on. If not we have to buy each other coffee at a great coffee shop close by.

I don't know how to classify the song but there are some guitars, bass, drums (machine) and a bit of synth (played with the ipad as a midi controller using the app SoundPrism). And there is singing (about traveling I guess, surf trips to be more precise).

So now I am waiting for my sons contribution. He will put on soundcloud I guess.

Thanks, your words really warms my insecure heart. I mean it, getting this out of me is not a very straight or simple thing.

comments on comments:
ge: I'm glad you loked the vox, I couldn't get myself to redo it one more time.
bb: I took a online course in music production I found on coursea that was given by berkley. I think that helped in getting me in the whole process of getting a decent sound.
orh: Listening to st thomas right now. Thanks!
gr: I like norway,a lot. And I will really try to keep to the plan of at least one song a month. Mattias song can be found here: https://soundcloud.com/mattiash-llsten/cave?in=henrikh-llsten/sets/coffee-challenge I told him to put it here, but it might take some time..
b: Haven't listened much to Lou Reed actually. Don't know why because I like him.
r: tremolo is the coolest effect there is
j: I have had this app soundprism for a long time but I just found out how to use it as a midi controller. I was really lucky in finding what I wanted really fast.

The synth and tremolo are the waves of the song – you all got that I assume, but in case you can hear what I sing, extra points if you find the references to Joseph Conrad and Neil Young. (Intertextuallity, or whatever you want to call it.)
