Haven't been around for a while.  Hope everyone's having fun.

I recorded two test tracks some time ago, so thought I'd post them for comment.

Gibson Les Paul Faded > Scarlett 2i2 > Reaper with Amplitube and EZDrummer.

Bit wobbly on the lead because I didn't tune up properly...

Gibson Les Paul Faded > Xotic EP Booster > Cornford Carrera > Shure SM-57 > Scarlett 2i2 > Reaper with EZDrummer:

I have lots of songs in my head, but don't get round to them at all.

Hi Joe,

They sound very good to me. I probably like the second one better. I loved the lead guitar when it came in about half way.

Keep going. You seem to have a good set up and you are getting good results.  Give us a complete song to listen to.   :D

Cheers,

Ian

Thanks.

I have all these tunes floating around in my head, but recording is so tricky if between work and raising two small children you don't really have the time to do it properly.

The first one above, for example, was interrupted by the kids flooding the kitchen floor while I was trying to record the lead guitar bit.  I didn't notice until the water reached the living room.  There is supposed to be a heavy-ish bit as second part, but I just faded it out and gave up at that stage.

Nice tones and playing. I have 4 kids and record in the car with a ukulele... No excuses!
Rock on!

lol!

I need to buy a car then.  And a smaller guitar.

Two for the price of one!  Both enjoyable pieces and I guess most of us can relate to your difficulties of balancing life with nippers around the place.  Mine have grown up and fled the nest now.  When they were young I found excuses to stay at work!

Keep finding the time to boogie!

Or you can just sit on the right side of the car in a car with the wheel at the right side, which is the left.
