I just finished reading "All You Need Is Ears" the other night and this little virtual tour of Abbey Road completed my visual expectations of this studio as explained by George Martin.

What a cool thing to look at such a historical piece of architecture and imagine all of the things that happened in those rooms. I have goose bumps.

I highly recommend the book to anyone who hasn't read it. It is so funny to read George's thoughts on the future of multi-tracking (the book was written in 1979), and think of what we can do with the equipment we have now compared to what they worked with.

We are really spoiled these days aren't we. With all the info available....... Sometimes I wonder if we loose something.... The mystery...... But most of the time I'm just amazed .... And thankful for being born at the right time and place

When my Brother Bob worked for BMG a few years back, he used to record frequently at Abbey Road, he did say it had a very cool vibe about the place. I'm seeing him next weekend - I'll ask him about his experience there and post up what he tells me if folks are interested.
