I am not very satisfied with the sound of my guitar and I think of redoing a taking ( can be with a strat? with clean sound ) unless somebody wants to try to stick own backtrack sound of guitar (it would be with pleasure) in this case I send you the backtrack of the song without the guitar...

Thank you so much 'My idol is Jahia', I so rarely get to sing anything jazzy (it's all the in Key btw, well for my voice anyway) and also makes a huge difference if someone else mixes it!

I'd forgotten just how bad I am at recording (it's been such a long time) and had a terrible hiss on the Rode mic which I couldn't resolve, so this version is on the internal BR80 mics (where there's a will, there's a way!)

Congrats to Jean pierre for choosing this great song, and Hilary you should concentrate more on jazz singing. IMO your voice fits perfectly the tones and shades of jazz. I've always thought this way.

Doesn't sound like it needs anything further, to my ears. I'm not familiar with the original, but I love the jazzy, laid-back arrangement and vocals (and now I wish I had a martini) - great collab, JP & Hilary!
