After several months of (low intensity) looking for a uke, I now have one.  It's a Mahalo Les Paul uke.  I was all lined up to get the Epiphone Les Paul uke, which has a pickup, but went for this one in the end, half the price.  Had a bit of money for my birthday and used it for this.

Next up, learning to play it...

Congrats!

Nice styling, and the tuners should hold better than the friction tuners you usually find on ukes.
