Hi Jim,

I love Tom as well.  Heart attack and vine was a ripper.  On the Nickel is another classic.

You did it well. Sounds like Roddy Frame (with guitar) after smoking a carton of Camels.

You recorded it really well.  The little bit of delay is very effective.

Your playing is getting better and better on that acoustic jim,nice tight chords(that Didnae sound right did it? :))
Tom waites is a poet and great story teller and I remember 1st seeing him on the  TV show The tube.
He started to sing in a gruff voice and you could hear people laughing at the start of the song as they just didn't get it and were not ready to accept him yet.
He is like Dylan,an acquired taste,he doesn't always do it for me but he is a great writer and you did a great job on this.
