I'm glad you liked it, henwrench! It's a brilliant song, and I hope I did it some justice using the different arrangement. And thanks folks for all the nice comments - I do appreciate it! I think I'll be using this mando on more recordings, and soon.

I had another listen to the mp3 I'd posted earlier and decided to do a quick cleanup pass (mainly removing a sickly vocal track that had pops recorded that I'd somehow missed - wax in the ears? lol) and tweaked a level here and there.

Hopefully, this remix is a bit cleaner and easier on the ears. :) Thanks again for listening and your comments.

I knew i was in for a treat before listening. This is just fantastic. So much stereo scope of every instrument and love the vocals.

I want your mando. That looks nice to play and i really love the sound of that dulcimer. You`re the master of instruments learning to play all these.

It looks like Hen is the popular man around here. Doing his tunes are fun.

Great job Cuth! I love it!

Really excellent I adore the sound of the mix; mandolin and dulcimer appalache

mix in voices perfect

Ps how is the dulcimer appalache a picture svp?

I once spent a night in West Virginia, driving from Indiana to DC.  It was winter and snowy. That was in a different century. I bought a pair of side cutters in Radio Shack there which I still use now, mostly for extricating toys from their impossible packaging.

Great bump, Jim. This song and this cover of this song exemplify what makes this little community so special.

What a nice cover. I was trying to isolate each instrument in the mix.

Well done!
