Not 100% sure about the mix, it sounded fine on the monitors but then you put it through a different set of speakers and then it doesn't sound fine - I'll let it sit for a day or so, and then may remix....

What don't you like about the mix? The only thing I can think of is the rhythm guitar when it's doing its dung-dugga-dugga riff... that riff doesn't seem to bed in to the track as well as everything else does. If that's what you don't like, on the speakers I'm listening with, it could be it's a tad thick and not enough cut to it? I'd say don't mess with anything else - it's great

A fine instrumental, Bruno.  Smooth melodic playing and the mix sounds good to me.  In fact it sounds very good.

Yep, I've gone for another listen - and this time I've switched off the "wide stereo" on me little box of tricks (didn't realise it was on) ... sounds even better! And the dung-dugga-dugga beds in nicer.

Sometimes I find the wide stereo on this box does weird stuff to my mixes (I actually use it as an extra reference when mixing now). There's no chance you've got something like that going on as well?

I recommend don't mess with it at all - do a new one instead, you're on a roll now!

I can't hear anything wrong with the mix. What I hear is some excelent playing and a really good arrangement. The opening riff on the guitar is fab.

Thanks all for all the kind comments - I always appreciate folks talking time to listen and then comment, it is what makes this site a community.

Fresh ears this morning re the mix - not too bad, but defo room for improvement.
The lead is a tad high, and a little upfront in the mix.
The drums could come up a tad.
The clean chorus guitar is a little too high.
Instruments need to be panned better - this improves the separation.

I may well re-mix and compare the two - will upload if a significant improvement.
