Very different from what we have heard from you in the recent past, but this is a very good thing and this is an excellent song, no frills, just a straight to the point delivery of an extremely well written tune.

The production gives it a nice full rich sound and the vocal is wonderful, powerful and yet perfectly restrained.

I do like the sound of the acoustic, its an instrument I always struggle with in terms of getting a recorded sound out of it that I am happy with, and am always envious and full of praise when I hear it sounding as good as this. Did you record it directly into the BR800 or via the on board mic?

The acoustic guitar was recorded through the on board mic.
I played it twice with a really soft pick, and panned them as far left/right as possible. When I mastered the song I used master effect number 13 ?acoustic.

This is a beauty. Love the panned, percussive strumming of the acoustic guitars - adds a nice folky feel, but the electric guitar and bass have a lot of gravity and weight. Lovely uplifting melodies, and even after 2 listens, very catchy. The lyrics are great too - quite mysterious and poetic.

Very short but very sweet. Lovely work my friend.
