There's nothing wrong with it, for my money, it's fine playing. But it probably doesn't have the effect you were imagining when you were doing it. Put this guitar between/around some vocals and it would stand out like "hey, the boy can play!" But as the "main course", especially against an electronic backing (which is cool in itself), even guitarists are likely to feel "and?".

well I thought that the guitar had a touch of Dave Gilmour about it, no bad thing in my book. Mixing guitar and synths is actually quite hard. Synths tend to have a really full and thick sound, and guitars can take up similar frequencies, so cover each other up. Panning can help, as does EQ, but it ain't easy. Cool tune Willie.

As you know I wasn't very happy with parts of this so I added a bit of vocal and re-did the guitar. I still wouldn't rush out and buy it but I do think it's an improvement. Thank you all for your ideas and kind comments.   Willie
