Sciur padrun da li beli braghi bianchi is a popular song of wage demands of mondine (the pruners and repiqueuses) rice fields of the novarese and the vercellese returned famous by Giovanna Daffini. it is a part of the vast directory of working songs showing difficulties and expectations of these women of the plain of the Pô, (favor) to whom they exceed their fatigue and by which they denounced the exploitation by the bosses.
