Well, this was a surprise! I'm a massive fan of the first two Prefab albums. Paddy is a hugely underrated songwriter and lyricist. This is a brave cover, but it really works with the pared back approach; loses some of the slightly dated 80's sheen on the original. You sing it beautifully too - just the right level of feeling. Very nicely done.

It was recorded live on my boss microbr via the onboard microphone. is a mono recording, but i recorded to  two tracks using an effect setting called fornylon, the effect setting is a preset on the microbr. i tweaked it slightly turning on tap delay, which cause the delay to reverberate around the stereo spectrum giving the impression of stereo. i also tweaked it by turning on noise suppression to eliminate background noise. i hope that makes sense.
