If there's one songcrafter that deserves a tribute it is our Tribute fest hero Kenny Mac. He's contributed so much to this fest and is such an important member of this community with all his brilliant posts and supporting comments !!!!

This is our little attempt of paying our respect to this great songcrafter.

The original is an overlooked gem of our hero.

I started this earlier this week but needed my brothers drums (and tuned and muffled cowbell) to complete this. As luck has it we had booked a weekend at my cabin with a couple of friends and one bailed and one didn't come Friday night so we had a chance to complete this yesterday. Well ... the lead was added this Katzenjammer morning.

Wow, this is a cool song.

You guys did it really well.

This sounds like a very professional production.

I can't help thinking of Black Sabbath.  And then the guitar solo tops it all off.

Well done.

Wowwwwwwwww I'm lost for words with this one, this is so good ,everything on it,the drums, the vocals, the music are totally outstanding and  I was also completely gobsmacked when I read what you said Geir on introducing this song.
And man that lead guitar is just of the wall.
You guys nailed it big time and I'm realy touched you have done this.
I was out gigging last night and every thing possible that could have happend ,happend.
My amp wouldn't work,I then discovered after rushing home for a spare that the fuse had literally popped out :'( then the radio mike went dead at the start of with or without you, after scrambling to the bass players mic  and finishing it  when we were packing up I discovered the the adapter had came out of the transmitter, then my pod pedal was playing up and it  was a switch at the back that was wrongly clicked so a nightmare night full of gremlins.
It turned out a good night but very stressful ,then I waken this morning turn on my computer and see this  ;D
It will take a while to get the grin off my face  :D :D ;D ;D ;D ;D
Fantastic,,,,,,,,,,Did I say I was lost for words?....

Excellent my brothers, what an amazing tribute & really solid way to bring a great festival to an end. Such a badass arrangement & production & then then that solo comes in and blows the whole thing into the stratosphere.
Brilliant!

F*cking AWESOME! Absolute perfection running through every element of the performance and recording. It's like some lost 1970's rock classic. And that end solo is like Godzilla rising out of the sea: monstrous!

A brilliant original, and a loving, majestic cover. What's not to like?!
