A war related song... like for most people I'm sure the news is deeply distressing these days, but in this part of the world it just seems strange to me most of us use the latest hi tech gadgtery to view and read about events that threaten to take us back to the dark ages.

I look at my pc screen
Get my fix for the night
Safe from the world here
From what's wrong and what's right.

There's 2 million people
With nowhere to go
With fear on their faces
In the frost and the snow

Thats what I saw
Thats what i read
On my PC today

Advancements we've made are clearly
all on display
We can watch people dying now
On repeat play

A village in Africa
is razed to the ground
I heard on my headphones in perfect surround sound

Thats what I saw
Thats what i heard
On my PC today

Yes, it eats at me too.

Well vocalised, great (sadly neccesary) song. Ironic we sit at our PCs and the people we watch have no concept of what it's like to observe the world through the virtual window.

I enjoyed the track very much.
We are here on Earth to fart around. Don't let anybody tell you any different
- Kurt Vonnegut.

A K

That's a great song.
Very mesmerising, with loads of extra little additions.

I agree with your sentiments.
Despite our tremendous human advancements, I still can't understand why mankind can't live in harmony.
You would have thought that they could have figured it out by now.

Very thought provoking and tells it the way it is in our modern cyber world.
At the click of a switch we can go from fact to fiction and back.
Well done on a great song putting your cards on the table .
Everyone can relate to it .

ODH

Good song Mike and nicely observed paradox between the polar extremes of interaction with these gruesome events.

Hook

Well done commentary brother. The lyrics are really good and backed up by that stellar track, awesome!
Rock on!

Really nicely done. There's a Knopfler-esque vibe to the vocal, but the musicality has quite a gritty, indie edge to it. The lyric is spot on, and the whole mood of the song carries the words very nicely. Love the production too: some lovely layering and separation. Very fine.
