Is it my imagination, or are the songs/mixes coming out of your BR800 brighter than the MBR? (My ears are shot right now, though ... I've been mixing and mastering all weekend... on top of a bad head-cold with blocked sinuses!!)

cheers andy, the br800 has more mastering options, that added with having 8 tracks to fill before bouncing, as opposed to the mbr only having 4 tracks, plus i record a lot of stuff in stereo, so on mbr was bouncing after two takes now i get at least 4 takes before a bounce.
