my guitar skills badly let me down on this one, lost count of how many times i had to start this one over again. i could hammer in nails wi ma fingertips now.
i slowly awaken to the chorus at dawn
the sun splits the sky and the night is now gone
so i stretch out my arms and i stifle a yawn
throw back the duvet and start over again
start over again
i put on some coffee try remember my dreams
stir in some sugar pour on some cream
and then comes the craving for nicotine
but i really don't want to start over again
start over again
i put on my jacket and pull on my shoes
step into the day do what i've gotta do
but i really don't want to but i know that i should
i guess that it's time to start over again
start over again
start over again

Tangled Wires

This is a belter Jim, I absolutely love it and you had me strumming along with you!

Your in fine fettle of late with some real quality output, and this is right up with some of my favourites of yours of recent times. The cheapness of the guitar for me adds a touch of fragility that would be lost if you were playing something worth far more, it is an integral part of your sound on songs of this ilk.

The impact you can make on a listener simply armed with your voice, a ten quid guitar and a handful of chords is a unique gift!

Wonderful!!

Magic.

Very intimate little slice-of-life song - it's got all your signatures, from the interesting chords to the vocals that wrap around it so well. A beauty.

And the calluses are usually worth the effort, because they help so much the next time around. :)
