Nice one, I'm hearing a Kraftwerk vibe in there.
I'm not familiar with the recording software but there's good potential there.
Well done

Sounds pretty cool to me, can hear this my head extending, gaining momentum and building in intensity.

Could also imagine it with a vocal too kind of following the musical melody.

Nice first post!

Actually I really like this.  It's kind of Yazoo / Vince Clarke / early 80's, but also right up to date (Yeah, Yeah, Yeah's, LCD Soundsystem [do they still count as up to date?]).  Anyway, I'm rambling.

You need to make this longer, but without straying too far from the feel.  Also you should think up a better title.

Thanks everyone! I'm definitely gonna work with the Asian/eastern vibe you all brought up. And yeah the title could use work haha

Jarle

Sweet little tune. Looking forward to hear an expanded version of this. The title is a little long maybe, but it's pretty descriptive.   :)

I'm actually having a hard time coming up with a title!! But the song itself is improving, hopefully done by tomorrow

Nice one Mitchhh, there's a definite eastern vibe, mabe because the voice you used sounds quite a bit like a Koto.

There's soft synths out there on the Intraweb that you can get for free, you can bring these into your sequencer and expand your soundscape. Having said that, I like the stripped down feel of this track. Great first music post.

Funny you should mention the Koto cause I just put them in. Any software synth in particular you would recommend?

Hi mitchhhhhhhhhhh, and welcome here.

I can suggest this one:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V3odc_vzfes

but of course it requires Kontakt. More in general, since I use often VSTinstruments, I can suggest Kontakt as a basis, adding the instruments you need in function of the song/tune. Rather expensive, I know, but if you want really TRUE sounds, this is the way.

Ciao!
