Love the balance between grit and clean, melodic precision on the guitar parts. The tones have a good retro vibe, and the whole thing snakes along very nicely.

That's a big sound you've managed to put across. Nice one.

Tangled Wires

Very cool this, grabbed my attention from the start with the pounding drums and the melodic driving lead guitar line (for the first few seconds it could have been Vertigo by U2!)

I do like the multiple vocals, there is tons of presence and energy in your voice(s) and you have dialed it in perfectly in the mix.

The lead guitar works around 1.30 also deserves special mention, you ripped into that good and proper and that tone is to die for.

Great song with real anthem rousing qualities....this is quality!

Hi

Thanks for the feedback.  I particularly appreciate the comments on the "production".  It is gratifying to hear that the investment in gear, software and time somehow pays off.  The ideas have been there, I'm now just a bit better at realising them. It is very satisfying and there is always more to learn.

Thanks, you have given me a great birthday present.

regards,

Ian

Missed this the first time round. Good bump James, cracking track Ian. It's got some progress feel with a really modern twist. Loads of life and like James says it's a belter.

I missed this on the first round...

This is a cool rocker and your guitar has perfect tone to this kind of music! The riffs after chorus sounds so good! Nice solo as well!

Fine job, Ian!
