Lovely, moody playing. The reverb works well to add to the mood even though it's very strong. No-one asked if the reverb comes from the MBR or from the "loo" in the title........so which was it?

Cheers,

Nigel

:D LOL ... well Nigel ...it's a small room, with a characteristic sound. I wanted a "larger" sound for the piece so I added the heavy hall reverb (4.5sec/60%/-2db I think ), so it's a blend of those.

:) Sometimes the inspiration comes out of my arse, sometimes it just comes  ::)

Many of my songs are recorded there (at the cabin, not necessarily at the loo) my next post as my previous (and my daughter aca's first post) where all recorded there.

cheers

I said it before and I'll say it again, "Really haunting, I agree.  This one has soul.  Great imaginative playing."  Do you want to know what a Viking sounds like, first thing in the morning, sitting around in his underwear, in a cabin by the sea...listen up to this one and you will hear it.

Alternate Tunings: CAUTION: your fingers have to be in different places

OTD Bump - fabulous guitar tones and work Geir - though what you have to feel bluesy about with that view beats me!

Never heard before either...
Great blues, great tension in these atmospheric / acoustic sounds
Somewhere between Ry Cooder "Paris Texas" performance and Mark Kozelec poetic / atmospheric improvisations...
I really love that tune, beautyfull
