Auto Mastering?

when comparing tracks make sure they are playing back at the same volume. Usually louder sounds better unless it's already too loud. (whatever that is.)  This is true in mixing as well.  So, if you master something (yourself or otherwise) turn down the master track to the same level as the pre mastered track to see if the actual sound is better or it's just volume.

I tried it last night. It just smashes everything into a multiband compressor, I have a much more subtle compressor smashing technique...

Well Guys

I'm using masteringbox.com, they have better prices and more settings. The truth is that 98,5% is proper mix and rest is mastering. My opinion. But anyway it's not bad idea especialy for online streaming on soundcloud for example. If you really want to have proper CD you need to pay more and pay to mastering engineers:-)
