What is the Boss BR 600 like?

I've used rechargeable batteries for some time and it works OK. BUT .... remember that rechargeables looses power more abruptly than regulars and they do have lower voltage. This can lead to problems with the SD-cards. I don't have any definitive proof of it, but my experience is that some SD-cards will cease to function properly after a while and even be damaged. I have many experiences with "Card read error" after running empty on batteries.

Take care ... and BACKUP !!!!

How long are batteries lasting in your BR-600? Thanks.

i bought these rechargeables without first reading about them on pg 24
they seem to work ok
i had at least 8 hrs on them
i'm not comfortable continuing using them tho i must admit
not to mention it uses 6 batteries-a lot of charging

I've read and been told I could have gotten better than this for just a little more money but for $65 each.. these are top notch - IMO.  I love everything about these monitors!  Multiple rear inputs, front power on, headphone jack, bass - trebble adj, 2 separate volume controls for each source and they sound great!  But I will say I do have some damage in my right ear so... maybe you should give a listen yourself and decide. :D  Hope this helps

Mine arrived this morning I am well pleased  8) :D
They have a real crisp sound with a lot of headroom perfect for my needs...
and not too expensive..
I'm glad I went for the 40's not the 20's cos I have them on well over 1/2 volume :o
Just waiting for my BR600 to arrive ;)

its a recorder obviously
and it has need of an update it only handles 1 gb cards.
it has guitar effects and recording effects
and drum paterns on top of that .
its several day of a puzlle to get al of it to work for you
the manual does not say it all.
it could have been more straight forward, but it works
what it is supposed to do , if you learn it .

Its great. Period.

Just spend some time foolin round with it. I am always amazed at the quality of recordings I can get with very little effort.

On the other hand, one of my internal mics is pooched so that sucks, but that's another story...
It ain't pretty being easy.

Okay to Cover

not a huge fan of the built in mics
i don't like having to position the recorder to find the sweet spots-
i use it for capturing rough ideas-its good for that
