whats the largest supported memory card for the BR?

I bought a 4gig and it didnt seem to work so I settled for 2 1 gigs. can you use any thing larger than the 1 gig?

tThanks

Kody

Nope~ 1GB max :-\
I've seen people on here that get 2GB cards to work, but still the MBR can only use half of it....

I personally haven't tried anything over 1GB though, so.............?

I have a 2GB in but is used now for 10% so I don't know what happens when I become above 1GB.

You'll run out of space once you get to 1 gig - the MBR can only address 1 gig of memory. Anything bigger than that is wasted. Sandisk Ultra II 1 gig cards work fine for me. Bigger cards seem to work but I always stick with the recommended cards just in case.

This is very interesting (and good!) news, as it's getting hard to get hold of 1GB cards (I've got some but some of them are beginning to give me card read error!).
What brand is the 2GB card?

More likely, you'll run out of space right in the middle of recording something and it'll frustrate the hell out of you.

To avoid this frustration, make sure that you offload or delete the data you don't need once you've done, say, four songs.

Back on topic: I use half of a 2GB card, because 1GB cards are hard to find.

I did see a 1GB micro SD card which came with an adapter, but that seemed risky.  I'd like to know if anyone has tried one.

I've done that with success! Just bought a 1GB SanDisk micro sd card with adapter. Works just fine!!
