Wowwww Ella you have the voice of an angel and Kari's music compliments it well.
Jim is right to be over the moon with this ,it is absolutely fantastic.
The guitar is great and the harmonies are spot on.
A mellow chilled out song.
Magic.

I missed the original, so gave it a listen first before I came in for a listen here.

The original is wonderful in its sparseness and directness, and is a shining example of Jim's talent to create minimalistic "big" songs.

What you have delivered here is simply stunning, that fine finger picked guitar is the backbone of it and I just love the other guitar additions and keys, which are perfectly placed throughout to enhance the whole atmospheric sound.

The vocal is the cherry on top...what a voice, sultry and hugely powerful.

This is what Tribute Fests are all about, and it doesn't get much better than this.

there is another version of this song that was done on my first trip to Geir's hut. was done with Geir, Osckilo, Flash Harry and myself. https://songcrafters.org/community/index.php?topic=8619.msg115135#msg115135

During rehearsals for this one Launched was watching via my webcam and i was giving the guys a hard time, Osckilo christened me Maria Fucking Carey for being such a diva. Happy days.  ;D ;D ;D

At first, I recorded the "rhythm guitar" by strumming electric guitar, but then I changed it to fingerpicked acoustic one. I used onboard mic with ST CLEAN (P"22) (on stereo) guitar effect on it.

I make that twelve "wow"s and counting.  Thirteen with that one.  They're all deserved. Here's mine;

wow!

(fourteen)

Beautifully imagined and executed, lovely voice and playing.  Perfect.  I was getting a bit of King Crimson coming through in the opening.
