What mic did you get?

I went for a Rode NT1 (the new one in black). This one is not as quite as bright as the old NT1 or the NT1A from what I understand. I like it on the acoustic, but can't make up my mind about vocals because I hate my voice.  John (Lurker) will have to give it a whirl one of these days. I should mention I ran it through a Presonus Eureka mic pre as well, so it's not just mic --> interface.

Great recording and tune, don't know the original. Love the sound on the acoustic, that sounds wonderful. Nothing wrong with your vocals. However if I'm being super critical, to my ears, its a little brittle on the vocals imo - it doesn't sound bad or anything, but it seems that that mike is more suited to the acoustic. I would buy that mike just for the acoustic sound though, that sounds astonishingly good on the acoustic.
