   Just wanted to spread so good cheers  to all,that i was fortunate enough to be contacted by a prominent
studio producer straight out of Nashville TN. this eve....Digs the music,spoke of goals,songs to do etc..
As I've used songcrafters as my sounding board for some time,wouldn't mind suggestions on a particular song or 2
that you guys think might fly-big studio- eeek!
I also accept the news with a grain of salt as this is not my 1st time around,,,but,,she's got a big name/credits,and appears to mean business.... wish me luck :]

    PS:    A bit surprised this most recent song,was not one of the chosen ?!

Having no idea what anyone is lookin/istening for I can't help you there  but congrats & good luck. This is a good song, the bass/snare drum thing gets a bit grating to my ear but it's something I do hear in mainstream music so you should probably keep it in.

Yep,it's pretty hard to figure what the "general public" [if there is one anymore],is after..So many styles,venues,
etc..
Also,to my surprise as well,the producer showing interest,picked songs which i hold dear,but yet,
would not have been first choices ??! Beauty is in the ear of the beholder, [the one with an experienced ear..],
to know what song might just sail....

Lots yet to work through,detail wise,but hoping for an eventual good outcome,and since she has has a proven track record,I will be all ears to suggestions.....for sure..Thank's again.
PS:If the whole thing crashes and burns,,,,,well,,,,so be it,,,i still believe in them,and will get up,and continue on..

I'm glad you've got a lead and I hope it pans out. It seems that I generally feel the latest song is the best but sometimes, given unbiased ears, the song I like but may not have thought as highly of is the one that connects the best. Follow the road as far as it goes and best of luck.
