Gnasty contacted me a while ago about working on this song with him. Well - we finally had a chance to work on it over the holidays.
He finished mixing it today and sent me an email to let me know it was done, and asked me to post it once I listened to it.

By the time I listened to it and emailed him back to tell him how much I liked it, Gnasty emailed me to say that our friend Rob (Facemask93) had passed away.

I am sure that we all have people on here that we want to like our songs. For me, Rob was one of those people. Every time I posted something, I would wait to hear what Rob had to say about it. He would sometimes make a comment or PM me and I was stoked when I knew something met his approval. I know Gnasty feels the same way.

We are so f-ing sad right now that we can't share this with him because we were fans of his and we think he would have really liked this one.

This song is 99% Gnasty. It was his idea, his guitar work, drums, mixing and mastering. I'm pretty sure he even has some background vocals in there too. This man is a freaking music machine.
The solo he laid down is just purely insane.

I sang and played bass.

I have been out of action for a long time (shit - I don't even know if I posted this in the right section - sorry 64). I have been in a funk, and haven't felt like playing much lately, but I am really glad Gnasty asked me to do this with him.

Gnasty - thanks again man-  I think it turned out great.
It ain't pretty being easy.

I know Rob would have loved this - he was a massive Sabbath fan (quote "favourite band of all time"), being from Birmingham himself (same place as Sabbath were from). Great job guys.

Good Lord!!

I was not expecting this too be THIS GOOD... i mean it in the best way possible. I know that there is serious talent on this site and when i clicked play i knew i was in for a treat, but this is up there with the original in quality and don't forget we are talking about Tony Iommi and Ronnie James Dio here!!! Vocals are, well, brilliant. Guitars - brilliant, everything else fantastic. Loved it guys.

Wow! This is fantastic, guys. Everything about it is superb - the vocals, the music, the guitar solo, the production. Everything is flawless and professional.

I don't know the original but perhaps that makes me appreciate this all the more as I have nothing to compare it with.
