This is excellent, loving them glorious jangly guitars and the stabs of the retro sounding keys. The moments where the music drops off creates a wonderful tension before it all kicks back in again, and the the way the vocal and music melodies marry up is remarkable considering how it was constructed with only a vocal track to work with.

Beautiful vocal, sweet and delicate yet powerful at the same time.

The only minor point I would make is that the vocal, in my opinion, could sit slightly higher the mix purely for the reason that it is that bloody good!

Fantastic tune.

OMG! Great song and so bright and beautiful voice! And emotional! Guitars sounds great too. Very nice.

Very nicely done Rhianna!  Fine job writing and singing, especially for one so young.  I'm sure growing up in a musical household didn't hurt.  Also, I look forward to your next offering.

Nice job on the jingle-jangle bro.  The various ways songwriters convey their ideas to instrumentalists amazes me.  Its clear Rhianna had a complete song in her head.

A great way to start the day.  Thanks to both of you.

Hi Hoop, Rhianna still hasn't heard this, her extensive social life and my work patterns mean i hardly get to see her. lol. i left for work today and left this page open on my pc at home instructing her to listen to this. hopefully she will hear it today. she won't let me post it anywhere else facebook etc. she is a bit shy about all this.

i am sure she will like it, when she has heard it and i can get a hold of her i will give you her feedback.

Wow, this girl's got potential, wonderful vocal style and fantastic voice. Obviously not inherited from her dad... Does she do mad vids in the kitchen as well?

Just love the emotion and sensitivity in the voice, and as Neil said, great breath control. I hope Jim will encourage her to do more here. Just loved this. Well done to Hooper for adding some music, so I will have to search out the original.

Whoops, getting to this one a bit late...this song was running non-stop through my head the other day.

You brought the jangle, hoop! I always love that - and this is an interesting and very listenable combination of both yearning and joy. Absolutely love the dynamics achieved, and I know firsthand that it's not easy to do all this starting with a vocal track.

I'm also amazed by Rhianna's lyrics, voice and vocal control - it's quite an achievement to maintain vocal pitch and feel without musical backing.

Well done to both of you!
