Hook

New kids are moved in (4&5 yrs. sister & brother)[also seehttps://songcrafters.org/community/index.php?topic=22345.0]  and have had a pretty raw deal in there short lives. They've been in 8  foster homes and we are the last stop for them, I now have another daughter & a son. The adoption won't be final for 90 days but they moved in on Christmas Eve (I know, right!) and it's going very well. They are surprising happy kids but have been through some serious trauma & and can't possibly know what love, trust or family really means. They are a challenge but they need us & we need them. That makes 4 kids for me suddenly & I'm a musician for a living ??? not sure I'll have time to record much, but you never know. Just moved and finally got wifi sorted out so hope to catch up on some listening. The new house sadly doesn't have a studio in it, my drums will have to be in the garage if at all I think & in the summer here in FL that will suck greatly. The MR16 is in a box  >:(No place to really present my instruments either so into the closet under the stairs they go until. All recording for the foreseeable future will be in my vehicle but that's cool!
Hope you all have a Happy New Year, I'll probably be in bed by 11 if I'm lucky, my new son is up at about 5:30ish every morning it seems :-\.

Wow, that seems like a lot of change to deal with but you seem to have a positive attitude to it all.

Good luck with 2015.  I hope that everyone settles in and you find your routines soon. I find that equilibrium helps when dealing with stress and pressure, so I hope you can find some for yourself.

cheers,

Ian

You are a good guy Hook
You will thrive and rise no bother to the new year

A guy and his wife-a friend of my daughter -have two new additions to their family -2 boys 5 and 7
they are so adorable they would force tears from a glass eye-if you know what I mean-
they had never been to the seaside -never played in  the sand - ordinary things that other kids their age would doif the lived on the coast-
Being brought on a bus or a train trip--
man I could go on

Hook you are some man.!!!!!!!!!!
