Top class job as always, Cuth! I've always admired the depth and dynamic of your recordings! Each instrument is well panned and balanced! Excellent playing and singing as well!

I'm not familiar with the original, but you have achieved the spirit of the Beatles very well! Fine!

10+ points for harmonies!

Love the approach to this cover.  The background vocals were knocked out of the park.

I thought I had commented on this but apparently not. You nailed those backing vocals Cuthbert! The slowed tempo and the laid back vocals works so well here. Your attention to the details of the original and applying them to your version shows how skilled you are. A fine one....love the bass!

Test, test, one, two, three.....is this mic on?

Shameless otd bump...

Here's another mix which may be 7% better (just for a lark, I sped it up by that much in Audacity, and added their default leveler filter). Let's call it "cuthbert's second cup of java" mix:

Nothing shameless about plugging this post. I just love the laid back nature of this. The tempo, restrained lead vocal, great background vocals. And that transition just shy of 2:00 is just great.

Great post.
