 Idid this one with chunk.
I added some guitar on his cool track then wrote and sang the lyrics.
it came pretty fast and this has been the way of things of late.
again a pleasure to collaborate with another songcrafter again.
myself and chunk must have enough now for a double album

Fine collab here gents. Really nice R&B groove with a bluesy touch.

Liked the subtle, tasty guitar leads.

The vocals are just superb..You have a cool tone and great phrasing Kenny..and the backup vox are ace.

Very cool. Love the extra guitar & the backing.
Not sure if it's me, but you seem to grow into the song vocally.
The later vocals are better than the early. It's more the levels than the singing.
Perhaps you found a positional sweet spot after a minute or so?
Only my opinion, and I never find it easy to record vocals.

Thanks guys,regarding the vocal,the idea was the vocal creeps up as the music progresses.
I suppose as the vocal gets stronger it would make the lower end at the start sound thinner.
It's a bit of a trade of but trial and error.
The backing vocals also grow at points in the song and add a bit of a boost as well.
I guess sometimes rather than flooding a song with extra music I like to try and create a bit
Of space by layering the vocal and build it that way.

I love how understated this whole track is. The percussion is subtle as are the guitars and background vocals, and yet it comes together in a really wonderful way. It's familiar yet original as well. Nice vocal delivery on this one.
