Downtown Kinda Girl - Voodoo Sharks

I can hear this pumping out across a huge festival field from the Main Stage PA.  It's late afternoon and the crowd is starting to get its shit together ready for the big night ahead.  Some are already drunk and dancing manically.  The weather's been up and down but it's dry for the moment and the atmosphere is great.  There's some wet sunshine at odd angles as the sun heads to the horizon.  From where I'm standing the retort echo around me from the crack of the snare is nearly as loud as from the stage.  I'm lost in the moment.

Thanks for taking me to that happy place.
