Whoops, missed this one before - epic arrangement and production! I love it when a cover song is re-imagined, and yet still retains the spirit of the original as this does.

The vocals on the new version sound nice and tight, to my ears.

Loved it!

Thanks for your comments all.

Quote from: SharksDontSleep on December 07, 2014, 03:34:59 AMIs that iPad Garageband strings?

It's GB on iPhone, rather than iPad (the missus won't let me put GB on her iPad).  Same diff' though.   There's also quite a bit from Alchemy synth over inter-app audio.

I think the problem I had with the vocals was that I recorded them in a live environment (the downstairs shower room) because the baby was in bed upstairs.  I'm used to recording dry and treating afterwards.  That and the fact that I can't really sing for toffee.

*** 64 / admins - can I use have this later version in the jukebox rather than the first one please? ***

Catching up. I missed this one. This is fantastic! Very "may i say ballsy" to take this on.

I love the vocal effects and that middle string part is very cool. It`s all Nick with the vibe of the Beatles
which is what i want to hear. Nice one!!
