these cold morns it's hard to get out of a nice warm bed. please excuse my sinuses, i struggled with them. oh and i might add some bass to this one tomorrow.

have added some bass and remixed. and have replaced 1st version with remixed version

oh the birds sing to the morning
and the crows caw at the sun
the light reflects from off the dew
it's the early bird that gets the worm
it's time to throw the covers back
to rise and face the day ahead
so wipe the sleep from out your eyes
it's time to wake up sleepy head
another day another dollar
to keep the wolf way from your door
sometimes you don't know why you bother
sometimes you don't know why
you leave the house on auto-pilot
you can find your way with your eyes shut
you take the same route every day
you walk the line
another day another dollar
etc
it's the early bird that gets the worm

I'm not normally into drum beats like this, but I found this to be really hypnotic. Great atmospheric keys. Great singing as well (as always). Hovering in that Peter Gabriel area again.

Sinuses and all, it comes across just fine.
You still manage to hit those sweet notes.

Cool beat and groove... humm Bass...  sounds like a good idea.

Yeh ,I'm getting peter Gabriel all over this one jim.
Again there is a great groove on the beat there,I especially like it when it changes drastically every so often for a couple of bars.
It tells the story as it is here in the cold Scottish winter mornings, dragging yourself into the gray damp atmosphere to earn a crust.
Your sinuses actually are used to great effect  ;D sets the mood for the story.
Well done mate.

ahh thats lovely... it zones you out so to speak when you listen. I love the drum patterns and love the snare popping in every now and again, quite arresting.

I didn't hear the first version but this is grand.  I like it when you do these. I don't know how you keep finding them. You must have a team of elves working the Juno when you are asleep?
