Here's my simple Monkey song.

Each week I go to the Monkey and she reads to me from her book.
I've heard the same Monkey words, over and over again and they always make me feel good.
Each day I read about the Monkey and the Monkey rules that I need.
If it wasn't for the Monkey orchestrating my life, it would be up to you and me.
Show me the Monkey and I'll fall to my knees.
Show me the Monkey – the most important deity.

My children are taught by the Monkey to live by the Monkey creed.
They spend twelve years under the Monkey's eyes and they learn to play in the Monkey team.
Now I work for the Monkey. I implement the Monkey decree. All the people of the World must follow the Monkey's lead – Monkey see; Monkey do.

Well done Ian! I like the metaphorical use of the Monkey in your lyric and how society's blind is leading the blind. Good vocal/melody and the background keys are a great add to the song.
