i should have been attending to other matters whilst in the midst of writing and recording this. resulting in serious frying pan injuries from mrs rottenhead. hope it was worth it  ;D ;D.

regarding the line "an ashtray full of doubts" that is stolen from the billy connolly joke/pun "life is like an ashtray, it's full of little doubts". in the scottish vernacular "doubts" can also mean used cigarette stubs.

i can find peace at the bottom of an empty bottle
i can find solace with my hands around a cold beer
i can find light in an ashtray full of doubts
i can find god lying face down in the gutter
i can get lost in the pages of a good book
i can be distracted by the slightest little thing
i can find light in an ashtray full of doubts
i can find god lying face down in the gutter
i'm running away
from cold reality
i'm hiding away
too scared to face the music
i can hide from the truth by sticking my head in the sand
i could make it all go away just by switching on my tv
i can find light in an ashtray full of doubts
i can find god lying face down in the gutter
i'm running away
from cold reality
i'm hiding away
too scared to face the music
it's time to stand up
walk into the cold light of reality
it's time to stand up
and face the music

This one is really "important". I'd like to add something to this one.

Really cool! The music track is very different! Liked the "experimental" spots a lot! Fine song!
