Quite a composition here james. I liked the stark, detached flavor of the instrumentation. I loved the lyrics with their magnetic feel of honesty and flavor of impending psychosis. At first, they were so opposite with your poetic delivery that it was just too far out for me. By mid song, i began to be pulled into the vortex. By the end of the tune, the connection made total sense. A second listen really brought it home. This is about as uncommercial as one can get. True art here, whether one likes it or hates it. It would make most people very uncomfortable i think. Making listeners feel anything makes it a great effort in my book. As for the remix by Alf, that took it to a different place. It was easier to listen to and less scary. His additions were excellent but i thought it lost some of the lonely psych ward feel of the original. Pure art James, pure art. Excellent post!

First off, The lyrics are tremendous on this, really painting a scene for the listener .
Then Alfredo comes in with this musical wizardry that takes you on a further trip.
The original was ok musically as well don't get me wrong, but the further contributions just send it off like a firework.
Well worth the frying pan injuries James  :D

Surprised I missed this first time round, probably the one problem of being so prolific Jim. I'm always amazed at how some collabs work so well. You take a good song played and sung so well and then with a little vision it's turned into an absolute gem. Great work guys.   Willie
